First of all, this is the introduction post for our product, The ETI Nano Mobile Charger. Although we are in a competition, we are truly serious in trying to promote this products to test our business and marketing model. We have been very busy as we are students, doing assignments and even having exams now, but this doesn't stop us from promoting our products.

As you can see from the pictures, this is the latest portable charger that uses Lithium Polymer technology (the battery that we have in our mobile phones), to work as a portable charger for people who is always on the go. This is a good saviour especially you are in emergency and when you battery doesn't performed in their optimum performance as this is the normal problems that most people faced.

With this new products, it can help you, especially for people securing big business or having an emergency phone calls, it can help you at least twice. Why do I say twice? This is because a fully charged ETI Nano Mobile Charger can stand charging a PDA and high-powered mobile phones up to 2 times, as for normal phones it can reach up to 4-5 times. This definitely helps and best of all, it is very portable, light and user-friendly.

This tool will come in even more handy especially when you do not have charger, or when you have charger, but there are no power plugs nearby. Acting as chief executive officer of a company, 30 teams comprising college and university students have taken up the challenge of strategising a dynamic marketing plan for maximum market penetration.

With a RM200 allowance, each team has to plan and market a pocket-sized nano mobile charger used for multiple devices.

After submitting their marketing strategies, teams are given a month to execute their sales drive, before moving on to a long-term plan.

Jointly organised by ETI Tech and Multimedia University, the competition aims to unleash creative-thinking and the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth.

Ummul Khairiyah, the project coordinator, says the competition is a great platform for young adults to experience what they've learnt in theory.

"The competition out there is tough. If you are not good at applying what you've learnt, you won't be able to succeed.

"Most of the colleges and universities emphasise paperwork and exams. Undergraduates are not exposed to real-life scenarios where they have to implement what they learn.

" She says the challenge has also encouraged participants to think about their future in the business world.

"Many were only thinking of passing their exams and getting a job. But now they are thinking about being successful entrepreneurs.

"Since the beginning of the project in January, most of them have started marketing the product through YouTube and Friendster. They even sell their ideas through roadshows, supervised by their lecturers.

" Ummul adds: "Being a young entrepreneur is not easy, but the benefits are very good. Besides the monetary gains, it also teaches young adults to take charge of their own future."
